Terrible news. Angus Buchanan died in a crash of a Stampe bi-plane on May 9, 2021.

Thanks for this it makes some very sad sobering reading.
If a very capable guy with nearly all his time in that aircraft can get it wrong, what chance do we have except ensuring we have lots and lots of altitude.
Damn shame to lose such a fine pilot with a really beautiful Falco. Sincerest condolences to all who knew and loved him.
