F.250. The F.250 prototype was built by Aviamilano. It differed from the SF.260's in having a vertical windshield bow and a 250 hp engine.

The instrument panel has since been improved.
SF.260A. This was the original civilian series by SIAI Marchetti, some of which were imported into the U.S. as "Waco Meteors." This is the fastest of the SF.260's.

SF.260C. The latest civilian version. It has a larger vertical tail than the SF.260A and has a drooped leading edge cuff on the outer portion of the wing.

SF.260M. The military trainer version of the SF.260C. It is visually identical but has some important structural modifications.
SF.260W Warrior. Same as the SF.260M except; gross weight: 2,806 lbs; empty weight: 1,794 lbs; maximum speed: 196 mph; maximum cruise speed: 178 mph; stall speed: 86.5 mph, and rate of climb: 1,099 fpm. External hardpoints for external tanks or weapons. Stall speed clean: 101.5 mph.
SF.260SW Sea Warrior. Same as SF.260M except: wing span: 28' 6-1/2", gross weight: 2,866 lbs; empty weight: 1,889 lbs; maximum speed: 189 mph; maximum cruise speed: 171 mph; stall speed: 86.5 mph; and rate of climb: 885 fpm. External hardpoints and enlarged tip tanks enclose photo-recon equipment and radar. Stall speed clean: 101.5 mph.

by Lu Matthews, who also designed the Falco paint schemes.
