To make the fiberglass fairings for the rudder, Al used some foam-in-place.

You could also use blocks of foam just as easily.

Here he has installed aluminum inserts to receive the screws for the fairings.

Here are the fiberglass fairings in place. Al still has to cut the openings for the hinges.

Here's a plug (male shape) for the main wheel well door hinge fairing.

And here he pulls a mold off the plug.
