Over the next few months, I will be making a number of internal changes to the Section Line tool -- programming issues. This is also a good time to make changes to the behavior of the tool. Here are two request from users. Please let me have your comments. Alfred Scott |
Thick Line at End

Fred Weller asks that the end line be bolder, as shown above.
Should the line size be tied to the line size used for the balloon? So that if you use Text Border Style, it will use the same line size for the end line. In the example shown above, the heavier lines are all two-point.
Matt Arnold suggests that maybe it should be tied to the heavy dimension slash choice in PowerCADD.
Comments, please.

Canam Section Line
The Steel Plus Network is a group of about 300 steel fabricators
who use PowerCADD and WildTools along with structural steel design
software written by Canam Steel, headquartered in Canada, but
all over the United States as well.
They are wild about WildTools, and much of Nuts and Bolts was created from a wish-list they gave me (Welding Symbol, Gusset Plate, Shear Tab, Cope Tool, etc.) They are now asking for this style of section line to be part of the Section Line tool.

The Steel Plus network of Canam Steel wants this style of section
line.
Comments, please.
