Craig Bransfield

Closing the leading edge skin.

Craig used 1/4-20 screws in the gluing strip to 'cinch' the skin down after
stapling to the spar. This is why the skin's bending strip is on the inside face.

Craig used a damp towel to keep the skin 'loose' until the glue kicks.

This technique produces some nice tight skins. The flat ones 'ring' like those caribean steel drums.

Ready to scarf the joint for the next skin. The bending
strip has been trimmed off with a utility knife.

Note the long 1/4" plywood stapling strips at the left side that are used
to apply pressure over the scarf joint by 'leaning' on the side opposite the rib.
