Nibble Tool
The Nibble tool allows you to shorten or lengthen a line by a fixed amount. Typically, it is used to chop in witness gaps or extend witness lines as shown below.

In the tool's dialog, you set the behavior of the tool

Type the shorten ('nibble') and extend (plus sign) dimensions. By default, these will be the witness gap and witness extension defaults from the PowerCADD Dimensions Preferences dialog. Click the Reset button to set the nibble and lengthen dimensions to be the witness gap and witness extension defaults from the PowerCADD Dimensions Preferences dialog.

The Nibble tool can be used on lines, dimension lines, or the witness lines of dimension lines and arcs.
