 The main landing gear upper legs installed in the main spar to act as indexing guides to ensure the front spar is positioned properly

 

 

A good view of the front spar in its proper position over the main spar using the gear legs as a guide

 

 

The front spar installed on the gear legs with the nut and washer such that the cotter pin could be install while ensuring the 340mm dimension between the back of the main spar and the front of the front spar was maintained

 

 

The gear legs are held vertical in the main spar by wrapping with vinyl stretch ribbon near the bearing of the gear leg

 

 

With the gear legs holding the front spar in position, the jig braces are installed to support the upper portions of the #4 (main spar) and #3 (front spar) fuselage frames
