We are really happy for the result. The canopy is beautiful.

Very pretty.

The next step is to drill slightly oversized holes in the canopy for the screws that keep the canopy in place. We modified a normal drill bit following the instructions of Tony Bingelis in his Sport Aviation articles.

We use countersunk head screws for the canopy. So we flared all the holes.

My son Marco is happily cleaning the canopy. We have still to install the fiberglass strips that will cover the screws.
