Fence Post Tool
This tool allows you to place objects at the vertices of a polygon and spaced along each side.

In the dialog, set the types of object to be placed: points, markers, rubber stamp objects of symbols.

Select the spacing. Use a Fixed Length spacing for a typical fence post where the fence segments do not change in length and you will have one short segment at each corner. If you do not use a Fixed Length spacing, then the spacing specified will be for the length given or less.

Select the offset and if the tool is to place a group of objects

To use the tool, click on a polygon in the drawing. The objects will be placed along the polygon.
